Ellis Island Casino and Brew Pub

I've finally done it I lost my damn ATM card during a horrible momentary lapse of memory and judgement. I went to the ATM and left my card in the machine, a phone call later and my mind is at ease. Shee-it I need to reconsider some things. In the mean time it's 1030 PM and I have 20.00 cash in my pocket. My mind is still punchy from my late night at Casa De Amore, actually it was early morning. I was getting the low down from a pimp about what it took him to be successful at pimping in Vegas, then I drove a new friend to her car after that I was wasted and tired.
No bankcard and only 20 cash, I needed a review and a cheap one. It's too late to call ahead for a place. I look online and Ellis Island Casino is recommended by locals for the cheap beer, 1.00 cheap and with old Vegas charm. I had my place to review.
Saturday night off the strip….sort of. It's another Karaoke night, the lounge is packed. I break out my 20 and get ready for a review. The casino/bar brew their own beer I suppose that's why it's so cheap. I'll tell you this much my pocket was pleased but my taste buds hated me. The beer tasted like shit….liquefied shit. I tried all the flavors getting a buzz and hating every second. I’m not really complaining because I would come back here again. You just have to get used to it. The bartender on duty tonight is a hottie combination of desert beauty and jaded single mom. She was friendly enough though.
The locals were tearing up song after song with no rest. The Karoke here in Vegas would possibly rival Japan. My beer was getting warm and I was still worn out from earlier that morning. I was getting hungry and debated going home and getting a snack. Oh yeah my bladder was about to burst with cheap beer.
The lounge is nice and comfy I'm sure it would be manageable if it was less crowded. I'm not complaining though, right about now a cutie is trashing the Di-vinyl's "I touch myself". This place reminds me of the Lamplighter in San Diego only rowdier and dirtier. Michael Fleming and I would destroy this place on a good night. Maybe we could get a gig at Bellagio, Christ where do they brew this shit?
